Game Design Document & Dev Plan


This week I had to learn and study about the steps and concepts that should be part of a Game Design Document. After that, I had to prepare and make one for the Odyssey, which was delivered on Thursday's lab shift. Through this, it was possible to make a better reflection on what the Odyssey experience should be for the player and I managed to make a better structure and think about different aspects that should be present in the construction of a game.

During this week, I also developed a plan in Trello, the Dev Plan, where the tasks and subtasks of the game preparation and the assignees must be present (in this case, I am always responsible for all the stages of building the game ) and their deadlines.

Finally, I also researched tutorials on those aspects that I still need to learn to develop a game, such as: introducing music, changing scenes and how to assemble narratives.
